in other news...my sister's car has the following issues:

fuel pump
fuel lines
brake lines
intake manifold and/or engine seals
exhaust issues

so verdict on my car....the mechanic thinks it might be either the Transmission Front Seal ($10 part and 5 hours of labor) or torque converter. but he doesn't work on transmissions, so who knows.

still no car, still pissed. not as much that my car is gone. but come on....if you borrow someone's car, you drive it for the essentials only. if you live in 2 square mile town and work in that same town, I can not think of any good reason to put about 1000 (yes, that is 3 zeroes after the one!) miles on the car...

the car has been driven over 500 miles. mind you....she lives 5 minutes away from her job (about 2 miles) and he is closer to his job!
