updates about the room:
today bought and assembled the dresser/cabinet thing I am using. black to match my entertainment center. it has enough shelves and drawers to fit all my pants, socks, underwear, shorts, and t-shirts I wear under dress shirts, plus all my toiletries and such! so I'm happy!
got an ottoman-type thing for a nightstand. couldn't find anything I liked at Walmart but this. it rolls, it has storage, and the top of it raises (since my bed is up high, a good thing!)
also got the wireless. nothing special (D-Link brand). but it cost me about $120 with $70 or so in mail-in rebates for both the router and the card for my laptop! so that works out nice.
finally, on an odd note, while watching House (the doctor show....quite interesting that night's episode had someone on that had Wilson's Disease for her condition....my aunt has it. only a few hundred in the world have it. your body does not get rid of copper with Wilson's Disease. and the only food without copper in it is corn), I had an away message up saying "House.....MD". well, the girl I kind of dated last year that stopped talking ot me IM'd me during that time with something like "Can you make things harder, get a life!" or something like that. hmmm....haven't talked to her since December when my uncle died. and she's blocked me for a few months now. what does anyone hear think of that? the only thing she can read (since she is not on Suicidegirls, nor does she know I am) is my on-line journal. you can find the link down at the bottom of my profile.
well, that's about it. all told, I owe my mom $385, since she put everything on her credit card. books are going to cost me about $500. hopefully I can put that on my account. so the debt is piling up, the debt my student loan refund will pay for. gotta find a job.....REALLY SOON!
