the next time someone asks you to sharpen a lawn mower blade with your Dremel that they used to sharpened with a file. my step-father (aka, cheap bastard) won't get the blade sharpened professionally. he "sharpens" it with a file, giving it a nice, rounded edge (after all, when you use a rounded motion, the blade gets rounded). and I just spent I don't know how long trying to put a straight, flat edge on the blade with my Dremel. went through a stone in the process. but I think its done.

and interestingly enough, my younger sister is calling more and more now. what do you think that means? anyone?

tomorrow, I get paint for my room and possibly a dresser (since the one I had is pretty small). and next week I get my vacation pay (thank God, I'm over $600 in the red1 ) and so I can use that for bills until I either get a job or get my refund check.

and score.....my sister's boyfriend's cousin (no Star Wars or Spaceballs jokes, please!) is a tire whole saler. he could get me Goodyear Eagles (70,000 miles) for $71, or a no-name for $51 (70,000 miles). its expensive because of my tire's size (P 185 60 R 15). still, last time I had to buy a tire, it cost me $67 or so for a 35,000 mile no name tire!

and might have my breaks looked at as well....damn they're squeeking!
