wow, realized with all the comments here, I better update.
so this past week has been interesting. there was the family graduation party for both sisters on Sunday. my step-father's oh so social family went inside for a few hours while everyone else was outside. and he sees that as normal.
my cousin seems to be wasting away, literally. she's getting almost anorexic thin (having a degree in counseling, yes, I know what Anorexia Nervosa is....I believe 80% of your ideal body weight). her face has brown blotches on it (she has some excuse for that). and her teeth are rotting. right now, I think of her teeth and want to go to the dentist and I run and brush them!
I feel sorry for my second cousin Madison. she just turned one. her father is re-enlisting. he has the plans that she will never date (straight to the ROTC as he says). oh boy!
my younger sister left early on Monday to move to North Carolina with her little boyfriend. he thinks he's big and tough. standing at 5'3" and weighing 130 lbs. I laugh. he wants to isolate her there, and has the idea that he will still go out 5 days a week, doing what he does (can someone tell me how a short white boy plays volleyball?) and figures that she either comes out with him or stays at home. I personally think he needs a beat down.
at my job, the one person who left screwed us over. but we're fixing it. the other AC (the one that got on my nerves), well, the Director today said "We can't really get mad at her, she's too stupid." I laughed. the Res Ed Coordinator (secretary and then some) also commented "She was so mean to you, and had no reason to be. why did you put up with it? I would have gone off on her." I do have permission to go off on this former AC at the Res Ed Coordinator's wedding if she pisses me off.
and today my Director said he might consider bringing me back over the summer for some contract work, since I can do all sorts of stuff on the computer....sweet deal for me!
so that's been my week.

thanks Mavis and Kreatin for advice regarding my car. right now, since my Mom is not working, I'm driving her car. its a Buick Century. the tires are new and the brakes are good. I have talked to a lot of people (including someone that worked at the dealership I bought my car at) who do feel I should have my rotors worked on. my older sister's boyfriend will have his mechanic do it when the guy puts on my new tires.
and that's it. a few more weeks of work to go, then I move back for Grad School!
Friday, I'm planning on going to Lennon. great musician (as my Aunt says, beautiful voice). she's hot as well. plus, from what I've read on her website, very social after the show! it should be a good time. I'm trying to drum up support. so if you know anyone in the Rochester/Buffalo area, tell them to go see Lennon in Buffalo on Friday (7 PM). it should be great. I might even take a half day off of work for the show!
and I'm still going for the free iPod. I have a Rio Nitrus 1.5 GB mp3 player. but 20 GB is nice! it will hold all my current mp3's and give me room to grow! so please click the link below:
