2004, the year that was:
Lots of things happened in 2004, the memorable being:
1. changed jobs (again), moved to another location.
2. got a really good boss.
3. regained confidence in being able to do my job.
4. determined that this is not the career for me, decided to return to Grad School (School Counseling, here I come!)
5. thought someone out there could love me.
6. learned otherwise.
7. regained hope for a family and marriage.
8. gave up hope for family and marriage again. 28 and no relationship longer than 8 months....only dated a total of 20 months in my entire lifetime!
9. lost family members. one by suicide.
10. learned that my family is kind of fucked up. we're still not really talking about my uncle's suicide.
11. realized that I might not be as screwed up as I thought, more a product of my family upbringing. 5 sessions of counseling will do that for you!
so that was my 2004. how was yours?
