so my car is making a loud noise while driving, kind of a growl that gets louder as I go faster....back in November/December, the shop that rebuilt my transmission told me that it sounds like my front wheel bearings are going bad.
figure 95,000 miles on the car. now the question is how hard is it to replace the front wheel bearings of a 2002 Dodge Neon....or better yet, how expensive? that is the question.
and wondering if the over 100 lbs. of Rock Salt my step-father dumped on the driveway this winter has anything to do with it. he sees no big deal about it...then again, I was the one buying the rock salt. seriously....over 100 lbs.

Hope it's not to serious and it can be fixed for a reasonable price.
