so found out my cousin is taking her ex-husband to court to change their separation agreement....
not because he doesn't pay child support (he does)
not because he doesn't see his children (he does....well, except for when she lets the youngest one stay home because he doesn't want to go)
not because we're not sure about the father of her youngest (rumor is she was having an affair about 6 months into the marriage)
and not because he abandoned them (while she, while the youngest was four, packed up and moved to Kentucky for some guy she met....and only returned when her mother started the proceedings to adopt the children).
its because...

yeah, a little petty, but said cousin complains of having no money...yet has an XBox 360 or 2, PS3, who knows what else, and 3 internet lines into her apartment because "she needs it for her on-line gaming." and between her and her boyfriend, smoke a carton or 2 of cigarettes a week (and considering that NYS has packs of cigarettes approaching $10...). all this while having 3 incomes (her disability, her boyfriend working, and her youngest getting SSI Disability at age 13). got to love my family sometime....would love for a judge to look at her, go "You can pick him up" and go from there.
so anyone want to trade?

Considering the kid is disabled, and the lack of a dna test to prove the kid isn't his ........ he will lose in court.
