more fun with home improvements...changing the light in the kitchen, should be easy, right?

I take down the light....there are four brown wires going into (what I think) is the white wire, and one red wire going into (I think) the black wires.

and the plastic around the wires are brittle......

and let's not even talk about seeing a copper ground wire....

FUCK!!!
