so a new kitchen floor in my house....went from a linoleum floor (from the 1960's) to a ceramic tile floor. guy charged $700 for the entire job (labor and materials). took him about 1 1/2 days to do everything.
now its taking the hardware off the drawers and cabinet doors (brass handles) and cleaning them up (and spraying on some lacquer over it to protect them) and repainting. also some basic repair work (the one drawer, the face came off at one time...my step-father's fix was to tape it back on). fun times, let me tell you!
and then get the kitchen back together (and changed around some)....wish me luck in fighting someone who believes the living room should be the way it is because that's how his parents had it for 50+ years.
