ahh, venting done. thanks.
talked to my neighbor...he's in a situation now where he no longer has room for his vehicles. kind of funny.
work last night....interesting. people noticed how things changed in the store I work with when our last store manager started. the previous 2...things were great. in fact, the 2nd store manager I had (Tony), here was someone who, when moving things around for produce, he rolled up his sleeves and was moving things around. it was great.
so what else? one more night of overnights...and then a few days off.....yay!

Your friend, along with his wife and daughter are fucked. His former boss was probably fired and under investigation for theft etc.... His employer had every right to make him sign the gag order contract, and had the legal right to terminate his employment for violating it. A judge would have your friend serving time in prison for doing so. As for the lease, the free rent was based on his employment with the company, since your friend is no longer employed by the company, he is in violation of the terms of the lease. So yes, he does have to sign a new lease and pay rent. His former employer will more than likely terminate the employment of his wife and daughter as well if he pushes the free rent issue.
