so more fun and games....
let's see, at my job, its starting to be abundantly clear...the new (as in brand new, this is his first store) Front End Manager needs to get confident enough to tell the Store Manager "The cutting of hours is interfering with customer service....we go down one shift and we're in big trouble."
and let her know that he will not let her desire for a bigger bonus get in the way. oh well, we'll see what happens....kind of interesting that people are starting to hate working at this store shortly after the new store manager started....yet loved working in the store before then (always commenting on how it had that feel of "family" and "caring"....a feeling that is rapidly disappearing).
and in other news....way back in February, I pulled a muscle in my leg (hip flexor muscle). the pull was to the point that, when I drove into work, I realized I would have to leave (first time since I started working I ever left...the only other time I called into work was due to my step-father's mother's funeral) early. the pain was such, though, that I knew I could not drive home safely. so I called for a ride, spent five minutes getting into the front seat of my step-father's Honda Accord, showed him where my car was parked, and whimpered on the way home. yes, muscle pulls suck!
he then went with my mom back to where I work and drove my car home.
when I went out the next day, I noticed that my horn did not work. no idea why. I've been waiting to buy a hood latch before I looked under the hood and check the fuses (I have 2 fuse boxes in my car...one in the dashboard on the driver's side, one under the hood...odd I think).
well, today, drove to work. walking into the store, I use the keyless entry to lock my doors....no horn beep (when I lock the doors, the horn beeps..that's what keyed me off that something was wrong, it didn't beep). work today, walking out to my car, hit the door lock...and hear "beep".
huh....my horn works now? I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth...but what gives? anyone have any ideas why it would start working so suddenly? the only thing I can think of is the warmer weather (we're approaching 80 F) did something...but what?
yup...that's all, a few days off, time to re-pot some plants and do some more cleaning in my room!

O and pulled muscles do suck, i have one in my forearm, i can see the lumpy mass at the end of a noticeable void in my arm. If it wasn't for the nerve damage it would probably hurt like hell!
