well, one eBay potential buyer scratched from the list....
from the sounds of things, I need new headlight adjuster bolts. one seller was selling the assembly....but no bolts. sorry. not getting my money.
in other news....my step-father's car is in the shop now (again). he bought this "great" car from some guy his mechanic knows. well, since buying the "great" car....let's see, the power door locks don't work right. oh, he needed a new engine recently (my step-father heard a knock when the car started when cold). now, he has a fuel leak.
yeah, great car, huh? let's see....8 years of owning my car, bought it new (so got the warranty)....only things not covered under warranty have been...um, the tie rods that needed to be replaced after the warranty expired? and brakes.
and picked up hours on Wednesday...the new front-end manager is cutting hours....he'll learn. then again, the store manager seems only concerned about hours being down. well, when customer service goes to hell and the night people can't do their job because they lack the help....don't bitch at us. instead of worrying about the store manager getting a nice bonus for keeping hours down....how about she shows some concern for making the store a good place to shop? just an idea.
oh well....hopefully one of the jobs I've applied for pans out....maybe the job at Fairfield University in Connecticut. just wondering....is the Governor of Connecticut under investigation for ethics violations like the Governor of New York is? I am curious.
