in about 1 1/2 hours, I'm having lunch with my dad. have to realize, I'm not sure when the last time I saw him was....all I know is that it was sometime last year. my sister and I called him on Christmas, but we never saw him around Christmas. our schedules never matched up (odd, since he's not working).
it could be interesting. sometimes my dad gets on these trips of telling me what to do (considering that I'm still looking for a job). sometimes he doesn't. its an odd relationship we have.
after all, what do you expect when someone walks out of your life 10 months 14 days after you were born (and since my birthday is coming up, you can do the math soon) and then returns when you're in 3rd grade, making demands about what you do in school and expecting you to instantly accept him as your father. things didn't improve until I was about 17 or so and started working part time.....then the relationship changed from a "I'm your father respect me" relationship to a "Let's be more friends that happen to be related by blood" kind of mentality. that and after I left for college (another big fight) and he accepted my choice (hey, he paid nothing, so what say did he have?)
could be interesting, to say the least....
and still kind of smarting of not getting hours next week. although I wonder how much the fact that I got almost 36 hours this past week plays into things. never know....our new store manager, just something I don't trust about her, so I could see her doing something like that. or the full-time overnight cashier is bitching about me.....funny, since customers, co-workers, and outside vendors bitch to me about him. did tell the customer the next time he just throws your stuff into a bag, throws the bag behind him (resulting in things falling on the floor) and not saying a word to you.....make a complaint.
well, we'll see if I'm subbing next week or get called in....or maybe a job interview! that would be nice!
and should be in chat tonight....get out of work at 11:15 PM, shopping, then plan to be home around midnight EST.

Since they are locust trees and will sprout for years I will bore holes in the stumps and apply battery acid to kill the roots. If I wanted to wait a couple years to plant the trees I would treat the whole bank with calcium chloride to kill everything.
