really, are there many things that Advil, heating pads, and lounging around cannot cure?
so yesterday (if you read my blog), you know that I asked to go home for the first time since working at Wegmans early. my leg was killing me so badly, I could barely walk and it was hitting waves of nausea. and the nausea part is what really sucked! I figure in four years of working there, though, since I never asked to leave early due to illness or injury, they can cut me some slack.
then it was waiting for a ride home. I could barely move my leg really (to the point where I couldn't tie my sneakers tightly), so felt that driving home would not be safe.
so sat at home, heating pad on the affected area (think hip socket area), taking Advils and not doing a whole lot. even went to sleep early (didn't sleep completely soundly, in part, since I tend to move around a lot and had to stay fairly stationary) even. so all in all, not too bad.
today, I have more movement in my leg. its healing. I can walk around without a great deal of pain. now time to keep stretching, keeping the heat on it, and taking the Advil. I work again Sunday night at 11:30 PM, so here's hoping (at least my plan is) to be "well" enough to work. since its cashiering and such, it shouldn't be too bad. I don't have to walk around the store constantly....always a good thing!
yeah, that's about it.....wish me luck tomorrow! gambling in Buffalo. don't care, I'm going. now will my damn tax return refund hit! the IRS.gov website says today. so where is it, ya bastards!

Gesh, don't go walking around on pain-killers. If you can't walk without them, don't walk. Pain killers are to make you comfortable while relaxing. It will heal faster! If you don't believe me, ask my shoulder
