well, Friday, and I've managed to sleep a full nights sleep the past 2 nights. its been nice. the tough part is I've been going to bed around midnight and getting up around 8 or 9 AM. while that's nice, I've been missing chatting with those I normally chat with here 
so what else? hmm, not too much else. just thought I'd say "Hi". Single Awareness Day comes up soon....my 33rd year of celebrating it. it sucks. I'll be seeing red everywhere where I work. and wanting to have a big bonfire in the middle of the store on the 15th.
and a co-worker yesterday told me about something I did last summer she still laughs about....
a customer in June or July comes in early in the morning (before 7 AM) and asks "When do you close?"
I reply very straight forward "Around Thanksgiving."
the customer was dumb founded for a short time before things finally "clicked"....she still gets humor from that!

around here i've discovered a fun alternative to the usual hearts n flowers ...zombie walk!! ...first saw it a few years back, heading home from a stag valentine's night out with friends I came upon a crowd of zombies stumbling down the street ...so completely out of the blue and talk about doing a triple-take! ...i chuckled the whole way home ...just might join 'em this year
