so sold the Frog of Thunder Heroclix I got a while back. it went for $66 on eBay...not bad, considering that I paid $10 for five of the clix. I'm taking it as credit at my cousin's store...I do buy comics, and this amount could pay for 2 big weeks, or 3 small weeks of comics for me. I won't complain.
in other news, been having fun. there's a Creationist, Kent Hovind, who talks about his views....and when you apply logic to them, its quite funny. now, I'm not bashing Christianity, I am a non-practicing Baptist (I view things as I don't need a middleman to maintain my relationship with God.) in fact, I might not be a total evolutionist....instead, I believe that our evolution was guided by a higher power. however, when you look at Kent Hovind......it just hits ridiculous levels.
and he does claim to be a man of God....but when you look at things he says, you wonder. oh, and if you're wondering, he's currently in jail. he would charge money (say $100 for a set of his tapes) for what he does (and I think a lot of money), but he refused to pay taxes. he said all the money was God's money. odd, since I got a feeling the money paid his bills.
so, without further waiting....here are a few videos of someone taking a critical look at Kent Hovind (I downloaded them from Youtube using a program I found from ant.com, you can too....these are from youtube, so have fun!)...
and finally, which kind of reflects my views....
logic...you gotta love it!

As for Gaiman vs Jim Butcher, I agree. Gaiman's characters were too aloof and/or childish for me to relate to. I'm just a normal dude who still opens doors for women, thus I like Harry Dresden. He's like me except he's got powers.
