so I believe Saturday the 9th marked 10 days straight of measurable snow fall in my area.
and now I"m sitting there, looking at the Weather Channel Desktop application telling me its 1 F (-17 C) out. yup, its freezing out!
what else? gotta do some photoshoping...took a picture of the STL that put out the microwave fire (reference last blog)....the plan is a picture of him as Smokey the Bear saying "Only you can prevent microwave fires..."
that's about it...sleep schedule is completely screwed up. and my mom is still learning the term "slow cooker".....I had a pork shoulder going for about 12 hours, she thought she could add potatoes to the mix for maybe an hour (more like 1/2) and turn it on high and have the potatoes be done as well. she learned otherwise.

I do love cooking potatoes in a slow cooker though. Ours is about 4 on high and 6-8 on low. It's a small one we bought in a second hand store.
