so last night, some customer set the public microwave on fire. she put her travel mug (with metal) in the microwave, causing the problems.
then she asked the night manager if the store would replace her mug for free....she said she puts her mug in the microwave at home all the time and has had no problem.
whatever. if I were the manager, I would have told her "Sure....you bring us a new microwave to replace the one you ruined and we'll replace the mug you ruined."
guess I'm not a manager for a reason.
time for sleep....work overnight tomorrow night as well....really wish I had these overnight shifts all together!

Do they happen to have a career as a travel agent? I am no longer surprised by such action since working on a service desk. Travel agents are natural idiots.

Wow. I thought it was common knowledge not to put metal in the microwave.
