so trying to start up a weekly chat for my Psychology group...rotate around the time and topic. I want this to develop to something more driven by the group members and less driven by me. how nice it would be if the chat room had some way to post what the topic is. but it doesn't!

Don't you have full editing abilities as group owner? Sticky the subject for the week with the date and time at the top of the threads or ask members to come up with ideas and vote on it (or two weeks in advance if need be). You should be able to delete the old threads and post a new one each week. This is done by other group owners for vouching purposes.
