and on the way back, went to Home Depot. got some new "feet" for a chair my step-father got. he wants to use it for a computer chair...however, wood on wood is not good. so got those "miracle slider" things....these screw into the bottom of the chair legs. took out the drill, drilled out pilot holes, screwed in the new feet, and all is good. also got a knife sharpener...because, well, we all need a knife sharpener, right? I know I do!

Yeah, looks about right. When I was talking to you in chat, I forgot that the majority that I spent on my tie rods was labor. I think they were $50-60 each. I actually snapped them. Wasn't fun.
