well, had the interview today. not getting my hopes up.
1. who knows...got that "eh" feeling about the interivew. lots of the questions were the "situational" ones, where my first answer is "You need to find out what is going on."
2. if I don't get the job, I don't feel so bad.
3. if I get the job, I feel better.
so right now, thinking of napping some, then wake up and chat with the peeps here. I've had about 2 hours of sleep since waking up to work overnight. in the past 24 hours, I think I've had 4 to 5 hours of sleep. I am tired.
in other news....the entire money thing Governor Patterson in New York did for helping school children get school supplies is ramping up. seems that there has been a spike in the sales of electronics and such in the New York State area. maybe someone should see if there was a spike in the sale of school supplies or not. the County Executive of Monroe County (where I currently live) wants the program stopped....as she puts it, "the opportunity for fraud and abuse is too high, there is no way to see if the money is spent properly or not."
oh well, what do I know. my idea would have been to look at the schools with a large amount of students qualifying for free or reduced lunches....that's a good way of finding those in need. use the grant money given to the state by that billionaire guy (George Soros) and money from the federal government to either have schools buy the supplies or use vouchers.
seriously...I live in a state with a Governor who can't see much of anything....literally or figuratively. and no, that is not a bash against those with disabilities. just a bash against politicians.
