so I interviewed today...I will know in a few days if I'm hired or not.

this District has one of the fastest interview processes I've seen so far....I interviewed today with 2 people. they will pass the information on to the building administrator tomorrow. he'll make a decision and let the Director of Personnel Services know. she's the one who calls and makes offers.

damn. all other districts have been "We have this interview...then another interview...then another interview....and then another......" (okay, at most three times).

don't know how I did. okay I think. threw out some stuff they liked to hear. one of which was in response to "Where do you see yourself in five years?"

my response:

knowing ASL
working hard for a department, helping the department grow and improve as well as growing and improving myself.
honestly, if I feel respected, I plan to retire from the office I'm hired at.

then I asked them at the end:
You mentioned things about growth and everything...where do you see the department in five years?

later in the week, I'll know. interview at Lasing next week. why can I interview someplace close?
