so today was somewhat productive....I basically slept, attempted to make a beef stew, and just got done re-doing a powerpoint for a manager. what she did...okay. but she fell into the trap many people often do....she did lots of animations and such.
so my changes...
1. make all the fonts the same...she went with Forte to start with and changed things up. I went with Arial Black. simple and easy. and kept it throughout.
2. she changd the colors...I kept the colors the same. ditto with the bullets.
3. animations between slides....but none on the slides.
4. kept the slides pretty simple as well...took out some of the big pictures (that sucked) and used some simple clip-arts. also kept things to about 4 points on each slide.
so what else? well, last night I watched "Juno" for the first time....it was pretty funny actually. love how that girl talks and her attitude. someone I could see hanging out with.
so what else? hmmm...not too much else to say. time to write an application for a job prospect and then get it mailed out....perhaps some bills as well. and laundry.
so, BTW, anyone know how to get things to thicken up with a stew? I have the slow cooker.....besides vegetables and beef stew, what else to add? thanks!
oh...and 7 days....like the show.

The boy uses cornflour and my mum always cooks a stew slowly throughout the day. Even the cheapest toughest beef ends up succulent.
