well, New Years Eve, I got to push carts in slush. which made for one hell of a workout.
I figured I would sleep nicely that night, since I was getting over a cold and had a great workout/got quite tired out by pushing those damn carts.
nope...I got another cold. thankfully, yay fast immune system, think I'm almost over this one as well.
so what else is new with me?
well, an employee is back from school. this individual, I shall call him Andrew, is the lady's man who has no clue he is. over the summer, 2 girls he was friends with came in on a Saturday night around midnight. we weren't too busy, and they moved aside when customers came through, so I can't complain. they talked with Andrew for the rest of his shift...2 AM. at one time they did some shopping, he told me how the one girl said she just broke up with her boyfriend. I told him that this is when, at the end of his shift, he goes "Hey, I'm kind of hungy, care to get a bite to eat at Jay's Diner?" (Jay's Diner is a 24 hour diner in the area, good food and cheap prices). figure this was his step to some serious action.
instead, at the end of his shift, he goes "Well, I'm done, bye."
he got yelled at for that one. big time chance.
well, last night, he said that he has a friend, a female friend, that he gets along with great. she's got a great personality and nice body. they talk. she feels comfortable around him. so I ask him "What's the problem?"
"Well, she can't spell you're and they're correctly."
so he does not want to date this girl because of grammar?
seriously...what should I do with this boy?
suggestions anyone?
seriously.
on other notes....my cousin served his wife today with divorce papers. around 8:30 PM, she said she was going to the doctor's office to get a medical excuse for a medical leave from work. why? well, she's too tired to work. gee, could it be because she's out until 4 AM to 6 AM 5 to 7 nights a week? since she works the morning shifts, it also means she gets home, showers, and goes to work. so what, she sleeps when she gets home (when she has the three sons while my cousin works?). gee, wonder why she's sick.
figure if this is true, she should have a doctor's receipt. probably won't. my cousin should definitely bring this up in court.
yeah, that's about it. still haven't heard back about the one job. fingers crossed. it would be nice. tha'ts for sure! tomrorow is lunch wth my dad for Chrsitmas. hours cut for next week...I'm done to 27 1/2 hours (as a part timer). I won't complain...since I have the most hours of a front-end part time employee. I get this job, though, and I'm only working the overnights. so chat, I should be around Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for sure. see how I feel regarding Wednesday.
now, time to shower, get dressed, and go to work.....got the quota of 2 to fill today!

I have both dealers and users packing up and leaving, no questions asked after the letters were served due to the results of the drug sniffing dog searches on the exterior of my properties
I love this, I may spend the money for a dog and training for my security crews so I can do regular and random sweeps. I've had the cops kill somebody, even had a multiple murder on my properties ... so removing the dealers and users will go a long way towards reduce crime and improving living conditions for everybody

Thanks. I'll be ok, I'm sure...eventually.
