hellstorm

well, its a new year, so I guess I best post something.

let's see....today, I got to push carts for about 6 1/2 hours. which isn't too bad....except for this damn snow. which meant I had no footing. which led to me only pushing a small amount of carts because, well, I just couldn't get the traction needed. it sucked. and was tough work. I shall sleep nicely tonight!

right now, its about 11 degrees F (and windchill makes it feel like -3 F) or -12 C (windchill at -19 C) where I live. since I was outside with such lovely conditions, I did the major layers thing. which also meant I was toasty warm.

but still, damn I'm sore in my shoulders and legs!

and did the traditional cook myself something for a New Years dinner...this year, it was scallops, bacon-wrapped scallops, and a salmon filet. its about the only time I really "splurge" on something for me!

so I guess I should do some New Years resolutions, so here goes:

1. start my career. not a job, but the career as a school counselor.
2. get at least 2, if not 3, of the credit cards I owe money to that I obtained while in Grad School paid off.
3. umm....get laid?
