well, still trying to figure out about my brakes. its the right front brake, a disc brake, that makes the noise when I first start the car, but it seems to disappear once I get moving/things start to warm up. mind you, I had the front brakes replaced (pads and rotors) about 10,000 miles ago. then again, the noise only started recently, when it got really really freaking cold out!
I'm also still sore from Wednesday. seriously, having 3 Helping Hands people on, 1 really slow and 1 somewhat slow, while having all 19 registers running? someone screwed up there! we get a call for a walk-out, have to do something, or someone goes on break....we're screwed! period. bad scheduling if you ask me. and my body is still sore from it!
and I am still boggled by the breaking toilet. it was not the part against the wall. the break was a good 3 or 4 inches away from the wall. so it wasn't a structural weak point either! guess someone really really big sat on it hard or something!
what else? well, my cousin let people know about the crap with his wife. she's gone pretty wacky, in fact. she wants to wait 6 months for a divorce until she is financially able to be on her own. hmm....also puts them at 7 years of marriage. coincidence? her father is pissed at her...mind you, he's one of the most laid back, easy going guys out there! his grandson drew on his window sill with crayons, he wasn't bothered. the grandson broke the towel rack off in his bathroom, he made sure the kid was okay and then didn't really seem bothered by it. yet he told my cousin's wife that she is done, he will not help her anymore and she's totally cut-off. keep in mind he's pretty much a millionaire, yeah, she lost out big time! so if she gets divorced, she'll have her 3 friends...keep in mind, from the sounds of it, 2 lost custody of their children. the one got kicked out of her apartment in less than a month. yeah, good people to be around, huh?
also went gambling today. my mom went in with about $80, walked out with $280. I donated $100. well, at least the buffet (for 2) was less than $10! so I guess that works. thankfully I'm far enough ahead to be good through December.
now if I can only get that job soon! or hope that I can put off my student loans one more year! and find a really nice paying job!
yeah, that's about it...how's your weekend? I'm currently in a blah mood. I get to work 4 nights straight of overnights. around some cute girls that I know have no interest in me. or are way too young for me (hey, I'm 32, not going to hit on a 17 year old! for no other reason than its illegal!). so why do all the girls want to flirt with the guy who has a girlfriend and 2 children anyways? that ranks all the girls as either "I'd fuck her" or "I wouldn't fuck her"....which so far has only 3 people in that last category! go figure!
yay single life...it sucks!

I know it always seems harder when your NOT in a relationship, but still....
I bet if you got in the habit of chatting up three random girls a day - just simple shit, like if you are at the doctor's look at the receptionist's photo ID and how she looks now and say "Wow, you've really changed your hair since then - I like it." Simple shit like that would no doubt turn things around quickly. Make it a habit and in about a week it'd be automatic.
There's a mess of mid to late 20s to early 30s chicks who've been around the block and are now looking for someone reasonable and stable. And they understand your need for a test drive.
