well, today, kind of interesting.
running around, getting kids to sign up for the PSAT's.
one girl I had to talk with about missing classes...she's currently getting divorced from a 53 year old child molester (huh, why did she marry him?) and fighting him for custody of their daughter. yeah...complicated.
the kid who won't talk...told straight out that if I see him before class, go "If you want to talk, you know where I'm at" and leave it at that.
and today, got home, found out that someone hit my mom's car. she was getting onto 104 (expressway), rounding a bend when she saw a car in front of her on the side of the road....blown tire. she hits her brakes since she can't get over. the person behind her hits here (going about 45). the person who hit her (a female) gets out and is pissed....asking my mom "Didn't you see that car?"
gee....let's see....my mom stopped without hitting the people, this lady hit her. what would that mean to you?
so I'm pretty much of the mentality "look, we should pay nothing."
yes, the police came and there was a report. plus my sister, a school photographer, took lots of pictures (my mom and her were on their way to a shoot). thankfully, all that happened to my mom was her glasses getting knocked off (she can still drive her car).
this should be interesting!
and seriously....a white Buick Century....kind of hard to miss, right?
