so another family gathering. a 6 year old's birthday party. and me on about 4 hours of sleep. it wasn't too bad. so I survived.
talked to an old manager of mine, she was thinking of us and called. I told her I applied for a school counselor position out where she lives. she knows people, so she's going to put in a good word for me on Monday....SCORE!
and somewhat funny thing. a second cousin of mine (who I really don't know) died recently in Florida. his sister (who, by the way, has had restraining orders on him and vice versa) as next of kin was contacted because they could not find a will. according to people, this cousin told everyone he wants his trailer, land, and car to go to his boyfriend down there.
well, found out today about his will, it was found. left pretty much everything to charity. the ironic (or perhaps not so good part) is that his sister went down, cleaned out the trailer (took everything), and finding the will, shredded it (she was not mentioned). too bad she didn't realize about the copy filed with a lawyer. so the lawyer gets to collect everything back that she took and so forth.
oh this should be good! what makes my family so interesting in the craziness that happens.
so that's about it..time for sleep and some work tomorrow. I get to put some departments back together after the floor has been stripped and waxed. so I sketched out how things look and took about 25 pictures (one department, a small one). this should be fun!
