well, a week full of really nice insomnia and not falling asleep until 4 am or so has just passed. thankfully I have not had to work until the afternoon this entire week. Tuesday I was supposed to work at 2:30 PM, thought it was 4 PM, I ended up showing up at 3:45 PM. oopsie!
Wednesday and Thursday I was on time. and shall be tonight.
outside of that, well, organized some stuff in my laptop (I've got a bunch of pictures that were not organized). the next step will be to clean out the duplicate pictures. free up some space on the external hard drive.
and Tuesday, its in the 90's (F), and my Air Conditioning in my car decides to stop working. as well as the driver's side window (power windows in the front). so I have to bring my car to the dealer to get those fixed. why a dealer? well, I paid for an extended warranty...so the dealer (if the problem is covered under the warranty) bills the company my warranty is through 100% of the cost. I had my lower control arms ($600 of work) fixed that way. so was my radiator and my multi-function switch. my transmission was NOT covered by this warranty, but by the manufacturer warranty, so that cost me $100 for the transmission overhaul.
thankfully I have 2 years and 45,000 miles left!
so next week, some sleep, bring my car in to be fixed, HOPEFULLY A JOB INTERVIEW OR TWO! or at least a call! and go through all the bins of "stuff" I have downstairs. clean out the downstairs room that people have used for storage the past 2 years (of basically opening the door and putting stuff right there).
it was nasty the day I went down and found that my step-father had put a turkey carcass down there and forgot about it! thankfully I found it BEFORE it started to rot. his response..."What, so I forgot about it, what's the big deal?"
moron!
oh, and rejected for a job (without an interview or anything) that required a Masters degree and one year of Res Life experience....read my resume here and tell me if that is slightly f*cked up!
