so, today at work, I open the candy closet door, and notice seven "Shrek Snickers" boxes in the closet. interesting, since only the overnight cashiers work that candy....and I've been doing the overnights the past few nights (since Wednesday). let's see, I went home, they were not there, but when I came into work again they appeared!
so I asked the Night Crew chief (Night Crew restocks everything at night). he said that a few days ago they tried bringing the boxes to Janae (the full-time Overnight Cashier who just went on vacation), she refused them because she had no where to put them. and then someone found them in the back room and put them in the candy closet. evidently I'm supposed to take care of them.
so I ask him about the boxes. he tells me "Dunno, think you can find someplace to put them?"
first though to my mind is "Well, yeah, but that might be uncomfortable."
so I ask Paul, the Night Crew Chief, if he has keys to Joe's Office. you see, this is a problem with Grocery, and Joe is in chair of grocery (and a few other departments). Paul goes "Yeah, why?" well....you said to find some place to put the boxes!
then told him "By the way, that wasn't the first place I thought of when you told me to find a place to put them."
He went "Ouch."
fun nights, huh?
and "puppy sat" some last night. my older sister and I watched my younger sister's new puppy while my younger sister was at a wedding. funny, she complains about the dog. no accidents in the house. only problem is that he chews on things. then again, he's no more than 5 months old. to be expected. my older sister and I will play with him. however, if he chews/bites us, we either flatten him (IE, hold him down by his neck and tell him "No") or close his muzzle and tell him "No." the younger sister I do believe needs to show her dominance over this dog, or else she's in for a long, tough time with him!
and how as your weekend?
