Seriously, what day is today?
you see, since Wednesday, I've been doing the Overnight shifts. the full-time person went on vacation to New Mexico, to return June 2nd. the person just trained for me, she was going to run the shifts. except on Wednesday, her father was in an accident that resulted in a head injury that required IMMEDIATE brain surgery. so she's been out because of this.
as a result, I'm doing the overnights. I started on Wednesday. I believe I am getting a day off Tuesday. I think. they hope to have the other person back by then. if not, I'm going psychotic!
and still looking for a real job....damn it!
might contact my old boss, see if I can use him as a reference....you know, having a Vice President of a college is always a nice reference, right?

Yes, I'm getting more and more freedom. I sleep almost every third night in my new flat and not at the hospital. They say I'll be out by the middle of June.
