well, the week is almost done. I probably should be updating and commenting on journals. yes, I read everyone's journal even if I don't comment. sorry, you'll figure out why soon.
well, my stomach still hurts if I try to do some sit-ups. it doesn't hurt otherwise, so I'm not too worried.
I'm done with school for the semester at least. if not longer. the final paper was turned in on Tuesday. it was supposed to be a 20 page paper on substance abuse in the schools. we ended up turning in a paper that is 30 pages text, 5 pages of references, and 5 pages of charts. we were suppose to use "reputable sources"....my source list was:
1 article
1 report put out by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, Department of Health, and some other government agency
the US Constitution
2 Supreme Court cases
hope she likes them!
I was up until about 1 AM on Monday doing the paper. Tuesday, well, my family asked "Are you doing anything?' to which I said "absolutely nothing today." I took a shower around 5 PM.
Wednesday was the follow-up with the psychiatrist. I am weening off the medication now....YAY! I'm done! YAY! he also thinks the program is full of crap for what they want. he's sending a letter saying "Sorry, Psychiatrists don't test people. but I don't think anything is wrong with him in talking with him twice."
worked today (Thursday) and I work the next few days. I'm quite sore actually. had to move stuff around, that fun stuff. and today, after work, I cleaned out the rose bush bed, trimmed the rose bushes back down (they seriously grow!), and put down about 6 1/2 to 7 yards of mulch in the bed! any weeds that grows through that deserves to live!
that's about all. working this weekend....overnights, damn it! gotta do my "grief chart" by Monday. also, either Monday or Tuesday, I'm getting my back tattoo touched up. the guy keeps telling me "Do what you want." my view is "I wouldn't go to a restaurant, order food and then tell the cook how to prepare it. Why would I get picky for you as a tattoo artist. I came in with the idea, now its time for you to do your craft!" so basically I go with what he thinks.
I'm just hoping for a job interview soon!
and that's about it...Mother's Day this Sunday. I'm going in 1/2 with my step-father, buying my mom a 3-person swing/fold down hammock. she'll be gone (every Sunday she meets friends for coffee), so when I get back from work, I get to build it, then sleep some, then get up for late lunch/early dinner. fun times, huh?
so hope everyone else is doing well! hopefully in a few days I'll comment away!
and found a new TV show to watch...Scarred on MTV. nothing like seeing people get hurt/break bones and stuff while doing sports and stunts! painful to watch, but damn its funny!
Quote so far:
A kid broke his arm in 2 places (he had an S-shape going). his friend goes "What should I do?" and he goes "Get my Mommy!"
yes, he said Mommy....a teenager!

Wow, you have been busy. Good on you for kicking butt on the assesment
So are you feeling better at this point? Must be doing well to be comming off the meds
Tough little guy he is!
Sound like you've been busy. I was wondering why i hadn't heard from you in awhile and i guess that explains it.
As for the rural living i just had a conversation today about how hard it is to get things delivered to R.R boxes.
