well, my "vacation" is almost over, as my mom and step-father will be returning tonight. it was good while it lasted, though.
what did I do?
worked
slept
laundry
yup, fun times, huh? at least no one yelling in the area. and I could walk around in just a towel (or less) if I wanted to!
slowly working on catching up on commenting on everyone's journal. so I do apologize for those I haven't commented on. I do read them, to please keep that in mind!
and still trying to figure out how to do my "homework". not class homework, but counseling homework:
1. figure out my position of strength. what is it? (ex.-those who are religious will view their religion as their position of power)
2. write a list of all the emotions I have, from most intense to least intense. and then chronologically. joys!
and my "homework" from my internship:
1. start my conversations with statements, not questions.
oh the joys.
you know, sometimes I wish I had talents in other areas. like musical talent, so I would be in a band. or artistic talent. or something. instead, it seems that my talent is dealing with people. however, this brings forward all the issues I have going on in my head. issues to work on, if I want to get better.
well, time for some reading. pop in a DVD of Rage Against the Machine, and do some reading.
and everyone else out there? how's life with you?
ps-anyone know about cars? its seems that my car is slowly leaking radiator fluid. annoying, since it was replaced about a month ago! yet my car isn't overheating. so, anyone tell me how urgent it is to fix it? since its under warranty for about 2 1/2 years, I'm not worried about waiting until next semester if I can! thanks!
