keep in mind as I type this I have had about 2 hours of sleep if I'm lucky.
so I'm sleeping nicely....until my mom wakes me up "I have to go to the hospital now, I can't breathe!"
okay, get dressed, drive her there. asthma attack?
well, after waiting and testing and everything, an EKG, Chest X-Ray, and bloodwork, it comes back:
EKG is weird
Chest X-Ray shows an enlarged heart
bloodwork shows higher than normal levels of some kind of protein indicative of heart damage.
so, now my mom is in observations for 6 to 8 hours, and then they re-test. could be nothing, could be a silent heart attack.
the joys of my life....
ADDENDUMS:
16 hours later, a combination of high blood pressure and an asthma attack. so we're no longer in the hospital now!
and, the NYS DMV is getting a letter questioning why my license is suspended as of the 15th for a $235 fine that I paid on-line on the 14th (paying $250). included in the letter will be a copy of their latest letter stating that my license is suspended and the on-line transaction showing the payment on the 14th. and then tomorrow I am calling them!
