well, the past few days, I've been working outside 8 hours doing helping hands. yeah, cart pushing. the full-time person is currently on vacation. and so I was scheduled.
so today, I decided to wear my pedometer, and measure how far I walked and the number of steps I took. in an 8 hour shift, the pedometer had me with over 38,800 steps (yes, over 38 thousand steps) and walking about 18.3 miles. not too bad. but damn my feet are tired!
and got lots of sun. big time tan. except, well, my sunglasses are wrap-around-style, and big. as in they pretty much cover my entire eye socket. yeah, I have those big white circles around my eyes now where I didn't get tanned on my face. it bites!
and still waiting regarding my financial aid. things have pretty much gone through, but waiting on Citibank to approve my student loan. considering they have everything, I'm wondering what's up. seems that the one service had me as an Undergraduate student, stating that I was over the limits according to Federal guidelines. since I'm a Graduate student, that's not the case. f*ckers!
so yeah, that's about it! waiting for classes next year.
oh, and on September 8th, in Buffalo, Lennon is playing! I'm going. anyone else from this area going? trust me, its a great show! plus, vocally, how she sounds on the album is pretty damn close to how she sounds live!
and congrats to harlequin for being accepted as a SG! yes, one more thing checked off my "to do" list. so far, I've met a SG in person (Lennon), and now one may very well soon appear on my "friends" list (that is, assuming she doesn't decide to drop people from her list with her new found fame!)
and that's a wrap, the back of my neck and my forehear hurt! too damn much sun! but in a day or two, it shall be tanned! yes, let's hear it for being multi-racial!

most experienced therapists use a combination of MANY different techniques depending on how your body is respoding to what they are doing. I always spend about 15 minutes talking to my clients before every session so that I understand what their needs are. You don't have to request any certain style... just explain what you told me.... and leave it up to them.
Don't be afraid to give some feedback during your massage if you don't enjoy what the therapist is doing- it isn't offensive and will help you get a better service.
