well, so, the past day or 2....has royally sucked!
first, work....
around 4:15, a guy (A) comes in followed by 2 other people (B and C) screaming about how we have to call "the damn police" because B and C, according to A, tried to rob him in the parking lot. I'm going "Uhh, huh?" in my head and reply "Let me call a manager."
the manager comes up, hears what everyone has to say, and tells A "I'm not going to call the police, if you wish, there is a pay phone outside."
everyone leaves.
about 10 minutes later, A comes back in, adamant, and going "Did you call the damn police" and then gets worse. I let him know that I called the manager, and I can call the manager again. he goes off, customers tell me I should call because of A harrassing and using obscene language in a public place. I call for a manager, which elicits the response of 4 of the overnight crew (including all 3 managers) running to the front. A has gone on his tirade, customers have called the police because of him, he leaves and comes back in with a broom!
well, overnight handles him. 5 sheriff cars (county sheriffs are the police in the suburb my store is in). they watch video, all sorts of stuff.
one hour later, I'm told "it was just a big misunderstanding" by the police.
WTF!
then I get home....to be greeted by a message on my laptop "Operating System not found."
so now I get to reformat my laptop....which means I will be on infrequently until I get the laptop reformatted.
yeah, so, how was your weekend?
