so the bills keep piling up, the phone calls always happen. it does suck. but, hopefully, in about a month, everything will be paid for and caught up (or even paid some more than minimal) when classes start again for me. and I can't wait.
2 classes and internship this semester, 2 classes and internship next semester, and I graduate. in May, my car should be paid off. so it'll leave rent and student loans and other small bills. I'm just hoping my credit isn't so bad that I get screwed over when it comes to renting an apartment. maybe I'll look for a roommate. or something. never know. don't even know where I'll end up!
so next week, >knock on wood<, if I don't get jury duty (please no, please no, please no!), I'll be working 56+ hours. since I rarely get out on time for Overnight (I have to wait for the opening manager to get in, who's rarely on time), I get the overage for hours. add to that the fact that I'll get paid an additional $1 an hour for those hours....well, I'll have a big paycheck coming in! which goes to bills.
now, on a happier note, I have my internship taken care of. its right down the road from campus (shorter drive), so that's nice. ther internship coordinator has an idea of what I'm like (I had to take a class last year where I met with her individually, due to a conflict) and she feels this will be a good match. I'm happy about that. the supervisor is sarcastic, which I like (and can relate to). and his focus is "Students first" which I agree with. so this could be a good year for me!
hmm, outside of that, not too much else. my sleep schedule is royally messed up. I'm not able to fall asleep until sometime between 4 AM and 6 AM now, and seems that I can't sleep past noon. it bites, considering that I need 8 to 10 hours of sleep a night to be happy (if my nutrition was better, I could probably do with less). lets hear it for chronic insomnia! NOT! so sorry to all those on my friend's list that I haven't been commenting in your journal, I've been doing what I can, but my brain also isn't functioning right now either. it bites. hopefully when things normalize for me (if they ever normalize), I'll get things back on track here!
plus I need a new mouthguard. yes, a mouthguard. why, you ask? well, as a child, I developed this habit of grinding my teeth. probably a way to deal with stress. and I ground them big time. through at least one other mouthguard. and, from what I understand, I actually fused a tooth to my jawbone (impressive, huh?). well, I thought I outgrew this habit. I was wrong.
last year I went to the dentist. my one tooth was pointed. and not one of the teeth that should be. kind of like an inverse chip (where instead of the chip being broken from the tooth, it was added to the tooth). I asked about it. the dentist said I was grinding my teeth. I didn't believe him. until he showed me how my bottom teeth were lining up with my top teeth when I moved my jaw in a grinding motion. great!
so what could I do? shell about about $20 to buy a colgate overnight mouthguard. or go to Walmart and spend $1 for a sports mouthguard! yeah, guess which one I chose!
but now that mouthguard is cracking (after about a year) and time for a new one! joys!
and yeah, that's about all. anyone who lives in the Rochester area (or is visiting) and wants to stop by while I'm working (I'm alone from 2 AM to 6 AM in the front), let me know. I'll let you know what Wegmans I work for. the conversation would be great (but keep in mind, I'll be doing my job as well!). thanks!
