here is an example of some of the conversations we have while doing helping hands (BTW, some of you may cringe when reading this, so beware!)
one of my female co-workers was talking about her period and how she was "a bleeder". she said her period occurred every 18 days (which I personally think is odd). here's how she described it:
10 days of bleeding followed by 8 days of rest followed by 10 days of bleeding and so on.
now she's on the pill, so its only 3 days of bleeding or so.
but damn! 10 days? that would have to suck!
sometimes, I truly am glad I got the Y-Chromosome! don't think I could deal with a 10 day period!
