The Rosebush Bed Before
there are 2 groups here, right after I trimmed the bushes down (about a month or 2 ago) and then as I was planning out the bed. yes, I use a hose to plan out the bed. makes it easier to change things and also cheaper (all you do is wind up the hose and use it again if need be!)
Rosebush Bed During
I have cut out the bed and removed the sod. I used some of the sod to do "repairs" on the lawn (putting sod on bare patches and filling in a hole we had)

yay me.
keep in mind, the cleaning of the bed and trimming like I did has not been done since AT LEAST 1988!
