well, tomorrow is my last day of register training. oh the joys, I'm actually going "live" tomorrow (as in a sign saying "Training in Progress" and I get to check out real customers....ooooo!).

today was talking about alcohol and the many different ways of paying.

the runner and coordinator (soon to be STL) commented "Gee, keep this up, you'll have our jobs soon" when I was able to answer everything.

hmm, let's see. this is a job designed for high school students. I have a Masters degree. yeah, wonder why I'm learning it so quickly! you tell me!

on other notes, well, let's see.

I sorely need sleep. this waking up at 6 AM blows!

and I have to remember to call my dad tomorrow, tell him about my grades. you know, the 3 A's and one A-. yeah, nice, huh?

and my weekend looks booked. I'm currently slated to cover my cousin's comic book store on Saturday, and his son's birthday party is Sunday. I got the son (who's turning 4) a giant Elmo Pez dispenser. he likes Elmo.

plus, hey, give the kid sugar! never a bad thing!

so, seriously, if any of you are in the Rochester area, please visit me on Saturday! otherwise, I'll go batty!
