well, I just finished my federal taxes. I'm getting about $1200 back from the Federal Government in tax returns. yay. sounds great, huh? except for a problem I'm in.
I currently pay out about $750 to $800 a month in bills. my job pays me approximately $600 a month (give or take $150 I'd say). so guess what this extra $1200 will be used for? covering that difference for about 8 months, until I get another refund check in.
the only light I'm looking at is that $300 of that is my car payment, which is paid off in May '07, and $131 of what I pay out is a payment plan, also done around May '07.
oh, and I forgot the $300 quarterly for a loan payment and my SG account.
geez, I think I might either have to negotiate more hours at my job or get another one for the summer!
