well, I have a feeling I will receive "the letter" from Rush-Henrietta as well (no phone call yet). kind of annoying when people tell you "don't worry, you'll get something" and you realize that of the 13 or so schools you've applied to, 3 have called (and no job). all the others didn't even bother calling you for a job interview....yeah, optimism is kind of...

thank you

That was even a better Idea. I could have my friends join and fave their faves.

I seriously think is an excellent idea. I can find out what is a common fave to sell.

well, one of the cures for feeling tired...a lot of sleep! seriously, close to 12 hours I think. so while I feel refreshed and well rested now, my body is doing its other "rebellion". when I sleep that long, my back has a tendency to stiffen up. so now I have to move around and such until it loosens up enough that I can crack...

UGH.

I think you should get a quick little side job while you wait for the other. Then your car can get some back up lights.

Everybody has something to say.

My cousin had to move to Los Angeles for a couple years to get work experience. She is now planning to come back up to Oregon and teach here. It sucked that she left, but I think it was a good choice.

Good Luck.

another week, more waiting. two job interviews...the one will have a decision by next week whether or not I'm hired. the other one (which is closer to home) will let me know next week if I go on to round 2. round 2 means I have to interview with the following:

Principal
Assistant Principal
Counselor
Counselor Liaison
Teacher
Parent
Community Member
Student

and who knows...

sleep patterns are off because of something "they" are putting in the water. Put aluminum foil over the top of your head to keep out "their" rays, it helps.

and THAT is why one must have sex. Just think if everyone took the fighting and tensions of this life and put it where it really belonged...

wait till you my age. talk about intensity.

so I had my interview today at Rush-Henrietta. hmmm, some things that seem kind of odd to me:

1. they said they screened 185 or so applicants...now, doing some math....

-there are three, yes, THREE schools in the Rochester area that have a school counseling program, with no more than 20 students in each program....

-throw in any school within a 100 mile radius, you...

i think tunnel might need an exorcist more than a counselor but i was thinking of asking him to be my life coach and i don't want either to ruin him.
Fingers are crossed. Sounds good.

so people have asked me how the interview went...so here goes:

the drive...about an hour to get there! seriously, I'm driving and driving and going "Where the f*ck is this place?"

I arrive (early). some time to relax. nice secretary.

I interviewed with the Principal (in a polo) and the new Director of the Counseling Office. nice people. hopefully I answered the way they like...

so last night, yeah, interesting.

first, the cashier I had I let go home early. she was queasy all night long. she's expecting her third child, and I'm guessing its getting to her.

then later in the night, these 2 very large gentlemen come in. seriously, 6'4" or taller, and built. the guys who work out. yeah, big black guys. nice guys. have to tell...

Why would they have to be discrete about condoms with hookers? I'm skeptical.

But assuming they had girls with whom they planned to have carnal knowledge with, WHY would they invite you?
You said they looked like they workout. Maybe they take steroids and it "made that special part of the male anatomy"(1) smaller? Did they look at you and think "this guy will make us look bigger by comparison."?

well, my car is back from the shop. new rear brakes and brake hardware (the parking brake). it cost me close to $485! over half of that is labor! do I really think that the guys working on my car got the entire labor as part of their pay? over $250 for less than 3 hours of work? I don't think so!

but its back....

well, finally got in touch with the Rush-Henrietta School District, after 2 phone calls and one e-mail on my part. I am interviewing on July 29th at Noon. now all I have to do is stop by work and make sure I get the day off (at least before 4 PM!).

it seems as if there are about 3 or 4 time slots open,...

well, still on the job hunt. kind of sucks to think things are taking this long. odder still is seeing various jobs that I have applied for yet have not had a call about. that is definitely one thing that truly sucks!

or the jobs that I applied for that are no longer advertised....seriously, how hard is it to send something in the mail at...

frown You didnt get that job that your mum was sure you were gonna? Damn it - this sucks.

I guess if the Residence Life jobs can act as a stepping stone - go for it.

biggrin Tis awesome about the job people contacting you when its not even advertised! Could be the one!

I was impressed with LoEG but I didn't like the others. This has got to be treated well though being Watchmen and all. I hope at least

so worked the past few days...oh how screwed my Front End Manager shall be.

he has promoted one person to coordinator (help things run, kind of a stepping stone). she's doing okay, but being new, has a lot of questions.

he has lost 2 of the best part-timers he has (one he initially denied the transfer to, but she got a full-time position, so she's...

well, job searching still sucks. and odd shifts at work this upcoming week. but at least they are night shifts, so it means not waking up early! or having to deal with rush hour traffic!

2 resume's sent out recently. slacking on applications. such is life!

so yeah, what's new with you?

another example of my step-father's logic:

we currently have 7 dinner forks out (with a whole bunch in the back of the silver ware drawer).

he feels that is not enough and that we need more forks out.

let's see...doing some math.....

3 people live in the house currently.

if my sister and her boyfriend come over to eat (the only ones likely to do...
