I really see the upcoming buffyfest as 3 days of hanging out. It's like going camping, but inside. And not so dirty.

My coworkers asked me what i was doing for 3 days, and for me it was "going to sunnydale?"

"where?"

"it's right on the hellmouth"

"Where's that?"

"By lloydminster...." biggrin

I'm in disbelief mode that it is so soo to buffyfest.

When i thought up this idea in August, (to watch buffy , eat snacks, and hang out for 3 days straight)

I didn't think anybody would be interested.
And now it's going to happen this Friday...

it starts!

People have confirmed, Buffy is ready, I have extra batteries, the guest room is ready, binders...

Would you be able to provide bus directions for us carless chaps?
masquerade:
A marathoner after my own heart. When the last Lord of the Rings hit DVD, danny_g and I spent a whole day (after the wacky wind-induced power outage) watching all three of them back to back. 9 hours of TV at it's best. I don't have the impressive video system you do, htough.

Won 100$ so now I really can play $500 in poker funds.

Happy New years, today I worked a hall party deep in the westend.

And I can't get over the friendship that was there. People calling and wishing each others happy new years.
There was this one raven haired beauty who called to say "I love you" to a friend of hers. It was really touching. I pretended to be all confused since I was working security....

I do the celibacy thing as well... up to a good year now... previously I had three years... Its a good way to test one's self control.
I am still getting used to the weather here, its DARN Cold, although everybody says its been relatively nice.
Anyway, take care...

Went out for a MeatFest at Montana's today...

There were 10 of us and we ordered 8 dishes and shared them all. It was amazing.
Then we went to see Harry Potter ! It was so inspiring, I wish I could do that. Make movies that just amaze like that.

Remember: The rule of Evil Willow is that you MUST watch it with a hot girl...It's a rule.

Where would we be if we all broke the rules?

I should calculate how long an actual buffathon would take. It would make an interesting experiment, to see if measurable personality changes resulted from watching every episode of buffy, in a row, through all your waking hours.

I bet your speech patterns would change to 100% buffyisms, for starters.

I watched an entire season, when I wad home with a broken collarbone, in 4 days. It felt strange to say the least.
