Drawing landscapes is helping me to heal my broken mind, I find it therapeutic and a way to channel my concentration into something productive. I was very anxious last night and drew the second picture and afterwards I felt better for a while and was able to get to sleep.

The first drawing was a quick doodle that took about five or ten minutes to

I have a low tolerance for cool people. I like the ones who were picked on for being themselves. Everybody conforms in one way or another. I’ve always been the black sheep who never fitted in anywhere. I don’t have a clique, a group who I conform with. I’m the loner who everyone thinks is a serial killer.

I’m waiting for the one who sees...

Everybody is intelligent it’s just a case of what you reveal, the style you maintain that influences others one way or another. I don’t think anybody can be truly stupid.

For example someone’s good at diplomacy; they have a matured level of emotional affluence, so they make a point out of it and become adept at hiding what they’re not so good at.

Thus they...

Intelligence is just raw intellectual processing power; what we put it towards (by disposition or inclination) varies, but people can certainly have more or less of it.  An individual might apply their processing power to diplomacy or to math or to fashion.  But between two people who put all their brains into fashion, Sean may be smarter at it than Avery, and I'd say Sean is more intelligent.  Sean's also more intelligent if they're just as good at fashion as Avery, but also better than them at calculus and finding metaphor.  With the zillion things every one of us applies our minds to, all this can only come out to rough relative approximations between individuals.  But I know for sure that I've met people more intelligent and less intelligent than myself.

“There tends to be, in the darkest syncretises of opposing thought, a violence that fills empty time and space. A nature for greedy lusts; a way in which to deny purposeful creed, a hollow reality.”

Evolution is something that happens over generations, we can’t just force ourselves to evolve overnight. It’s also a chemical reaction to our circumstances. For example, in the film Waterworld, man has evolved webbed feet to swim faster. This is something that man evolved in order to survive.

If we’re going to evolve to adapt to the spiritual and psychological challenges that we face in todays...

I am no longer afraid of silence
It can mean this, this — or this.
It’s the brevity of every silence
Which speaks,
And the volume of each of them
Dims and loudens;
Gently, like notes from a piano.

It’s the silence after a storm,
It’s the quietening of guns after a war
Your silence is a kiss
Perfection; utter bliss.
dhyani:
I like this one a lot; it is true that you can hear eternity in a moment of silence - if you can get your mind to shut up long enough to hear it.
heatherisaboynow:
@dhyani lol yes. If I could shut my mind up for just a moment I’d be a much happier person! Thanks, I’m glad you like it :)

“Everyone keeps saying I’m some kinda psychopath or a serial killer, but I wouldn’t hurt a fly,”

“I just saw you crush a fly literally a minute ago,”

“I’ll cry about it later.”

The spirit has wandered much, beyond these four walls. I am young, vital energies, so much space to keep me small. I sit still, ruminate among predicted futures, outcomes and end-user licence agreements — for what service do I owe?

In wanting I find liberty. As though such freedom can be granted, as though my own empty spaces are filled by withdrawing, moving currency from...
