“Be wary of those who belittle your dreams. Small people belittle your dreams. Great people make you feel as though you, too, can be great.”

Love is similar to cancer.

It’s always there, waiting to begin.

When it begins, it relies upon the subject not being too resistant to know its effect, but it continues to grow deeper over time... until eventually its so deep nothing can cancel it.

You don’t die of love like you do of cancer, but it becomes part of who you are, loving someone becomes...

@infernum thanks :) I wasn’t too sure if it would resonate with anyone so it’s good to get some feedback

I felt your vibe. I like to read, specially that people have to share e about feelings

Cigarettes smell of memories.

When I smoke, sometimes my cig evokes a thought or a feeling, occasionally a flashback to my childhood of a memory I find pleasant.

I’ve had cigs that smell of my grandads car, I’ve had cigs that smell of my junior school classroom - the industrial cleaning agent they used.

Has a really soothing effect on me.

Now and then, I’ll...

I find it so easy to go from one genre to another fluidly, hardly noticing.

I figure music is music and as long as it's good I’ll like it.

Sometimes I go from folk to blues to country seemlessly because it’s all the same soul and story, just in a different accent.

It’s like one big song.

I don’t order my playlists by genre but...

My dear music, I am
Writing this letter to you
To inform you that
My heart hasn’t changed
Paths, nor meandered
Off course.

My room speaks desire’s name
My room speaks desire’s name

My dear music, won’t you
Crumble with me? Won’t you
Speak of solace and shame?
So strange this ‘ere day
Before me it was subdued;
I recall it as a day of...

Every time I get anxious I tend to watch BBC wildlife documentaries usually narrated by David Attenborough.

I’ve learned a few practical things that I can use in life, such as if you come face to face with a chav, treat him as you would a rabid wolf... eyes to the ground and head low, preferably from a great distance. That way they see you...

I’m such a cynic I find myself thinking stuff like, “yeah, this song is awesome but... ah I just hate it,” or the reverse happens sometimes, I’ll think, “this song is rubbish... I love it.” I contain multitudes 😑
rubymoon:
I relate to that!
heatherisaboynow:
@rubymoon its kinda like having two opposite opinions at the same time. I wonder what would happen if we were neutral always and had no strong opinions on anything 🤔 that would be Christmas for me!

I’ve got this strange habit where in my idle moments I draw patterns with my eyes. Say for example there’s a point of light reflected on a car, then I see another, I’ll look from one point of light to the other (I’d probably find I have a flair for geometry). Back and forth between them and often there’ll be four points of light.

Right...

We’ll be like a fight club except we just sit there making patterns with our eyes and the cawps will be like “what the fudd is going on here?” And we’ll vaporise him. Nobody will mess with us 💪

Said to Rosanna I miss going to cafés to drink coffee and watch people. It’s what I like to do with my time, I observe.

I’m very curious about people, they seem so mysterious. I want to know things like what accent they talk with and the timbre of their voice, I want to know whether they’d be the kind of person I’d get along...
