Said to Rosanna I miss going to cafés to drink coffee and watch people. It’s what I like to do with my time, I observe.
I’m very curious about people, they seem so mysterious. I want to know things like what accent they talk with and the timbre of their voice, I want to know whether they’d be the kind of person I’d get along with.
What kind of company do they keep?
I have some of the characteristics of a lonely old man or perhaps a sloth that takes a lot of caffeine. I’m even typing this really s l o w l y.
I want to unmask the world. I want to see through everyone’s façades, pierce through their armour and see people at their most natural.
I want to get to know somebody.
But until then, I will have to be content with making up stories about non peripheral strangers, only to discard them every night when I go to sleep. One day I’ll find somebody who wants to stay in my life.
