With all three branches of government in their clutches, all I can say is that the next two to four years better be the most peacful, prosperous fucking years this country has ever seen.

These past few days, I've been feeling like a Mad Arab wannabe. Or maybe Bart Simpson...

Why not can the electoral college altogether?

Oliver Cromwell is dead. I think we can stop worrying about him quite so much and the way he managed to hijack the British democracy for all of 12 seconds. (Most of the non-democratic aspects of our constitution were put in as protectionary measures against Cromwell type figures.)

Sounds like a good week, all in all. smile

Because of Columbus Day, I'm having a long weekend. I've also taken the rest of the week off. This is my first real vacation in seventeen months or so, and damn does it feel good. I do wish that election day was a holiday instead of today, though.

Cashews were salted? I had some honey roasted cashews down on the Ice, they were rather tasty.

Hazelnuts. I do not mind eating them, but I do not like the flavored coffees and icecreams. Eww.

Chestnuts? Maybe that is what men would call their boobs...if they had some. wink
