TODAY IS EXAM 3 DAY.
I have been studying all f'n weekend. Ask me any god damn question about the human skin and I'd be able to answer it for you. Psoriasis, contact dermatitis, melanoma, basal cell, squamous cancers, blistering diseases such as shingles, impetigo, and or Tens...and finally burn victims. (skin grafting, debridment, wound care and fluid replacement...)
As if that's not enough for this test, The male reproductive system is on this baby too. That studying was easy. Prostate cancer, BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia),Testicular cancer, inguinial hernia, vasectomy and erectile dysfunction.
Just know that if you balls are getting bigger, that has nothing to do with "manliness" get to a doctor for pities sake!
And finally, there's a psych. portion (AGAIN...) Anxiety disorders and somatoform disorders, crisis, victims of abuse/violence and the homeless.
Every exam we have a pysch. portion...and it's scary how many of these disorders I see in my X!!!!! Boy, I can pick 'em! Or I guess they pick me! (well not anymore...I can spot 'em a mile away now!) Not only will I pass my boards in May or June, I'll be able to avoid these creepy bastards with all these mental problems too. (thanks nursing school!!!! That alone is worth the $$$)
I'll be testing at 2pm. Wish me luck. I can never get higher than a "B" in these tests, but apparently that's the norm, according to the statistics. I'm a type "A" personality though, so this burns me up...

As usual, I made some stupid mistakes on questions that I should've nailed...but overall, I did OK. I think that I got an 81. One of my fellow nursing students has a T-shirt that says:
A,B,C = nurse
another has one that says:
"C" means "continue"...
They are pretty funny!
Our final is Dec 17th. (Cumulative, of course, plus Renal...that's what we're covering now...)
Thanks for asking!
