7 days till my final.
I haven't even sent out my application for my nursing license yet.
Graduation isn't until the 28th of May, and my credentials from the college will be sent the following day.
They can't give me my license until they get that info., so I guess it's not that big a deal that I haven't sent out the app., passport photo, notorized affidavit, and criminal back round check paper.
I'm not even sitting for boards until the end of June because of my Kaplan review course June 9th through the 19th.
I signed up for that to help myself pass the boards on the first try. It's $200.00 every time you take the test!
There's no reason why I shouldn't pass the first time, but I want all the help I can get.
My job starts on July 14th. Whether I have my License or not.
It's a "graduate nurse" program, so I'll be following an RN for about 3 months.
(I'll be working "under her license".)
But it sure would be nice to have my license...I'm sure that the pay scale is different!
I know that it's $24.60 an hour for a new nurse with a license.
I don't know what it would be for a graduate nurse in the process of getting her license.
My cleaning business is starting to get pretty busy.
It's the season coming up (summer) that I make a killing.
I'm worried about starting my new career and being in the middle of my busy season at the same time.
Thankfully, my nursing schedule is 3 12-13hr shifts per week, leaving 4 days a week for cleaning.
I'm so sick of being a broke student that this is exciting for me.
No more school 4 days a week, making no money!
Now everyday will be a "work" day, and I can finally make some real money.
...isn't it funny how you either have no money, but a lot of time to spend it, or have money, but no time to spend it?
That's OK, I have to save it for a farm anyway.
But you can bet that I'll be buying some serious clothes and all kinds of cool shoes to fit my new body!
(I lost another 30 pounds!) I'm at 140 now, size 8.
It's hard seeing all these cute clothes coming out because of the change in season, and not being able to buy any!
Wow.
This is the start of "the rest of my life"...
I'm 90% excited and 10% scared, or maybe it's the other way around...
(Anyone know what movie that's from??? hahahaha)

Then when you get a vacation, come visit Chicago as there is a lot of burlesque here and Salome is not to be missed
