Not standing up for your civil liberites leads to not having any to stand up for. I don't preach anarchy and I believe that capitalism is the most successful economic system to date. However, there is no excuse for self-imposed censorship on a site which is supposed to be out of the mainstream. I am in the wrong place. Bye.

I don't see what being "non-mainstream" has to do with trying to avoid a lawsuit during a very tumultuous time for the site. It's not like the pictures are going to stay down forever.
If you think what SG has done is wrong that's perfectly fine, but the fact is the FBI is going after porn that involves concenting adults participating in legal activities, and it's leading to many, many sites being shut down, such as insex.com, beautybound.com and devonshireproductions.com, because they can't afford to fight such a huge court battle.
If this outrages you, you can help fight against the stupidity at the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and the Free Speech Coalition.
